(Des Moines) Voters have two days to cast ballots in the 2022 primary elections. One race drawing a lot of attention in the November election in the U.S. Iowa District #3 race between the winner of three republican candidates and incumbent democrat Cindy Axne who is running for a third term.
The three Republican candidates are Gary Leffler, Nicole Sasso, and Zach Nunn.
Gary Leffler worked in the financial services industry for 25 years and was a construction consultant. One of Leffler’s main concerns is the rising inflation rates. He is running to back the blue, defend the border, protect the second amendment, honor the veterans and support the troops. He believes in pro-life and pro-agriculture and stands for religious freedoms and values.
Nicole Sasso worked as a financial services professional. She is running “to support our police, protect innocent life, defend our right to keep and bear arms, fight for lower taxes, smaller government, and better opportunities for all Americans.”
Zach Nunn is an Iowa State senator and Air Force veteran who owns a marketing business and commands an intelligence squadron in the Iowa Air Nations Guard. He is running to “stand up for our brave men and women in uniform, fight for safe neighborhoods, and secure our border.”
