Riverside girls head coach Jared Hoffman. The Lady Dawgs scored 40 points to place 3rd.
The state title in the 4X400 was won by Riverside. Elly Henderson, Macy Woods, Lydia Erickson, and Izzy Bluml were on the winning group. They helped Riverside place 3rd as a team in Class 1A.
ACGC’s Austin Kunkle medaled in the open 100, open 200, and anchored the 4X100 meter relay in the finals.
Nicole Middents, Mariah Huffman, Chloe Mullenix, and Ava Rush teamed up to place 3rd for Atlantic in the 3A 4X400.
Emma Gordon and Veronica Andrusyshyn were two of Riverside’s 4X100 Meter Relay members. The group place 3rd.
Riverside’s Lydia Erickson improved one spot in the 200. She was 8th last year and takes 7th this year.
Trevin Suhr’s 3rd medal of the state meet was for 5th place in the Class 2A 1600.
Audubon’s Gavin Smith caps off a stellar career with a PR in the 110 Highs. He placed 3rd in 14.86.
Two individual medals for Riverside’s Veronica Andrusyshyn. She went 5th in the 100 and 6th in the 100 Meter Hurdles.
A third place finish for the Audubon boys in the shuttle hurdle. The group included Gavin Smith, Brandon Jensen, Aaron Olsen, and Carter Andreasen.
A state champion. The Nodaway Valley senior took top honors in the 100 meter hurdles while teammate Madison Fry placed 4th.
A 4th place finish for Harlan’s Will Neuharth in the 100 with a time of 10.87.
ACGC’s Trevin Suhr was one of four medalists from the West Central Activities Conference in the 2A Boys 800. He ran a season best time.
Atlantic’s Claire Pellett earned 15th in the 800.
Kaia Bieker, of Harlan, ran 2nd in the 3A girls 800.
