(Moravia, IA) – Authorities are searching for a man who severely injured a sheriff’s deputy in Appanoose County. KCCI/TV reports that David Boley attacked the deputy Saturday near Rathbun Lake, hitting him in the head and causing “several fractures.” There are also separate arrest warrants for Boley for sexual abuse, child endangerment, and drug distribution to someone younger than 18. Boley is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone who sees him or knows his whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1.
