(Atlantic) Local donors contributed $139,850.00 in scholarship money to the Atlantic seniors at Wednesday’s annual “Senior Class Night.”
Atlantic Schools Superintendent Steve Barber says many different pieces contribute to the Atlantic School Foundation that gives out a lot. In addition to that, Mr. Barber thanks local community members for their generous support.
Thirty-six seniors were honored with awards and scholarships from local organizations, and over 50 community organizations presented scholarships to the 2022 graduating class.
Additionally, the following graduates received these prestigious non-scholarship awards.
Bernie Saggau Award – Ethan Sturm
Daughter of the American Revolution – Good Citizen Award – Bryan York
Hawkeye 10 All Academic Award – Kaitlyn Rothfusz
Hawkeye 10 All Character Award – Bryan York
Des Moines Register Academic All State – Ethan Sturm
Governor’s Scholar Award – Ethan Sturm
