(Dunlap) Boyer Valley won the team competition in a Class 1A Boys Golf Sectional Tournament at Dunlap on Wednesday. The Bulldogs shot 322. Their win on the home course opened the door for two additional teams to move on. Those squads were runner-up CAM with a 350 and 3rd place St. Albert with a 351.
Each additional individual qualifier is from Griswold. Kamron Brownlee advanced to the district competition with an 82 and Caleb Oakleaf moved on with an 84.
Team champion Boyer Valley had a pair of individuals in the top four with Adam Puck shooting 79 and Ben Nichols recording an 80.
CAM’s runner-up team finish was anchored by individual medalist Chase Jahde with a 78. Others for the Cougars included Seth Hensley with an 85, Logan Lawrence 89, Carson Cary 98, Bradyn Bohnsack 100, and Gavyn Jessen 101.
St. Albert was led by 4th place finisher Lane Sundberg with his round of 80.
