(Red Oak) The Red Oak Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in attempting to locate a stolen vehicle.
At approximately 12:27 p.m., Officers of the Red Oak Police Department were notified of a potential stolen vehicle that had been taken from a residence located a 111 W Walnut Street in Red Oak at approximately 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. today (Friday).
The vehicle taken was a blue 1997 Chevrolet extended cab ½ ton pickup bearing Iowa license plate BOJ 946. Other potential distinguishable characteristics of the truck is it does have blue fender flares on all four fenders and the vehicle squeals very loudly as the power steering pump is out on the vehicle.
