(Greenfield) Nodaway Valley senior Elliot Cooney intends to wrestle at the next level. The program’s all-time leader in pins and wins will compete for Cornell College in Mount Vernon.
Cooney was a four time state qualifier for the Wolverines. He placed 7th in the state as a junior and finished 6th at the state tournament as a senior.
Cooney wrapped up his high school career with a record of 166-24.
