(Des Moines) The National Weather Service issued a Freeze Warning from 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday to 8:00 A.M. for Crawford, Carroll, Audubon, Guthrie, Cass, Adair, Adams, Taylor, Union, and counties to the counties northeast.
Temperatures are forecast to dip to as low as 26 to 31 degrees. Frost or freeze will damage or kill sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
