(State) The Iowa High School Athletic Association has released sectional and district assignments for boys golf.
Sectional Tournaments will take place on Wednesday, May 11th with the District Tournaments on Monday, May 16th.
Class 1A:
Audubon and Exira-EHK each got to St. Edmond (Lakeside GC) for a Class 1A Sectional. District qualifiers from that site will compete at Bishop Garrigan (Spring Valley GC).
AHSTW, CAM, and Griswold play their Sectional round at Boyer Valley (Dunlap GC). District qualifiers compete at Majestic Hills GC in Denison co-hosted by Boyer Valley and Denison-Schleswig.
Class 2A:
ACGC opens the postseason at South Hamilton (Jewell Golf & CC). District qualifiers compete at Kuemper Catholic (Carroll Country Club).
Nodaway Valley/O-M starts Sectional play at West Monona (Onawa CC). The District Tournament will be at Shenandoah (Shenandoah American Legion).
Class 3A:
Atlantic joins Carroll, Denison-Schleswig, Carroll, Glenwood, Greene County, Lewis Central, Perry, and Harlan at Denison-Schleswig (Majestic Hills Golf Course) for the Sectional Tournament. District qualifiers go to Spencer (Spencer Golf & Country Club).
The top two teams will advance from each site. If a host team is in the top two then a third team will advance. The top two overall individual players (plus ties) at each site from among the non-qualifying teams will advance.
