(Sac Co) One person was killed and another was injured in a two-vehicle accident in Sac County this (Monday) morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says 54-year-old Jan Gentry, of Shawnee, Kansas, was pronounced deceased at the scene. 19-year-old Clay Roberts, of Dunlap, Iowa, was transported to the Denison Hospital by Odebolt Ambulance.
According to the report, Jan Gentry was driving a 2000 BMW Z3 southbound on Highway 39 and lost control on a slushy patch caused by blowing snow. The BMW moved into the northbound lane and was struck on the right side by a 2012 Chevy Equinox, driven by Clay Roberts.
