(Bedford, IA) — Authorities in Taylor County are investigating the death of a woman and a one-year-old boy in a Wednesday morning house fire. No names have been released.
KCCI TV reports emergency responders were called at about 7:00 a-m. The body of the child and the 21-year-old woman were found inside. Investigators with the Iowa Fire Marshal’s Office are working to determine the cause of the fatal fire.
At least seven local and state agencies assisted the Bedford Fire Department at the scene.
