(Red Oak) Red Oak Police arrested an Omaha, Nebraska, man following a traffic stop near North 1st Street and East Walnut Streets in Red Oak late Sunday night. During the visit, Officers charged 52-year old Fred Francis Welch with OWI 1st offense, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers transported Welch to the Montgomery County Jail and held him on a $1,000 bond. Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Red Oak Police Department with the arrest.
In a separate incident, Red Oak Police arrested 43-year old Michael Gene Landon Jr. from Council Bluffs for driving with a suspended license. Police transported Landon to the Montgomery County Jail and held him on a $491.25 bond.
