(Creston) The Creston Police Department reports five arrests and one break-in.
On Friday, Police arrested 18-year old Elizabeth Rose Rolland of California at Walmart and charged her with 5th Degree Theft. Officers cited and released Rolland at the scene.
On Friday, Creston Police arrested 41-year old George Hancock of Creston at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on charges of Animals at Large on Public Lands. Authorities cited and released Hancock.
On Friday, officers arrested 19-year old Kacy Lynn Nevitt of Perry, and 18-year old Shalaya Ann Marie Armstead of Independence, for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Marijuana 1st Offense. Authorities transported Nevitt and Armstead to the Union County Jail and released them after posting a $1,000 bond.
On Saturday, Police arrested 28-year old Andrew Thomas Palmer of Adair at the intersection of Elm and Mills for OWI 2nd Authorities transported Palmer to the Union County Jail. Officer released him later on a $2,000 cash or surety bond.
Coltyn Bredberg of 909 W Mills reported that between April 5 and April 10, someone entered his residence and took multiple items, including; ignition parts for a 1988 302 Engine, Grayco paint sprayer, 55” Sony Smart TV, handheld paint sprayer, car audio equipment, and miscellaneous tools The estimated loss is $2,700.00.
