(College Springs) One person suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Page County.
The Page County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at around 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Missouri Avenue and 290th Street in College Springs. Authorities say 24-year-old Joshua Allen Grashorn, of College Springs, suffered injuries in the crash. Clarinda Ambulance Service transported Grashorn to the Clarinda Regional Hospital with unknown injuries.
Grashorn, driving a blue 2001 Dodge Dakota told authorities he went through the stop sign at 290th and Missouri Avenue and struck a red 2010 Ford F250 driven by 45-year-old James Paul Patterson of rural Coin. Both vehicles came to rest in the ditch. Patterson escaped injury.
Authorities cited Grashorn for failure to yield entering a through highway.
The Clarinda Ambulance Service, College Springs Fire, and Rescue, Page County EMA, assisted the Page County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
