(Ames) Iowa State’s Ashley Joens will be returning for another season of college basketball.
The Cyclone star announced in a social media post on Monday that she’ll take advantage of a COVID year to be back with the Cyclones once again.
Joens was a 2nd team All-American selection this season after posting averages of 20.3 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. The Iowa City native shot 40.9% from the field, 37.6% from 3-point range, and 85.2% at the free-throw line.
She is Iowa State’s all-time leading scorer with over 2,300 points and also has more than 1,000 career rebounds.
