Iowa State men fall to Miami in Sweet 16

(Chicago, IL) 10th seeded Miami advanced to the Elite 8 with a 70-56 win over Iowa State on Friday night. The Hurricanes improved to 25-10 on the season.

Freshman Tyrese Hunter had 13 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals. Gabe Kalscheur scored 13 points and Izaiah Brockington finished with 11. Iowa State made just four of their 22 3-point attempts and turned the ball over 18 times.

ISU’s season closes at 22-12.
