(Washington D.C.) Iowa Senator Joni Ernst spoke with reporters about her weekend trip to Germany and Poland with nine other U-S Senators. The Senator from Red Oak says they demonstrated the U.S. unwavering support for the freedom-loving people of Ukraine and affirmed the strength of NATO.
Senator Ernst and the eight others on the mission met with non-governmental organizations and Ukrainian refugees.
Ernst says the message from all Ukrainians they met with is they will fight until the very last man, and they will when this war.
Senator Ernst says in the future, America cannot be pushed around and cannot hold back at this critical time. She says Putin is a war criminal and must be held accountable for targeting schools and hospitals and killing innocent women and children.
