(Vermillion, SD) The Harlan boys and girls track teams were in attendance for the Dan Lennon meet on Tuesday at the University of South Dakota.
Harlan won the Girls 1600 Medley Relay with a group of Lilly Metzger, Ella Plagman, Lauren McLaughlin, and Kaia Bieker. Metzger, Plagman, Dani Smith, and Bieker were 4th in the 4X400.
The Cyclones boys placed 3rd in the 1600 Medley with Lukas Francis, Will Arkfeld, Josef Reisz, and Tyler Shelton. Tyler Shelton placed 4th for the Harlan boys in the 800.
Among some of the other area event winners were:
Underwood’s Thomas Huneke winning the shot put in 50-06 1/4.
Treynor’s Clara Tiegland running 9.62 in the 60M Hurdles.
Underwood’s Chase Ryan in the 60 with a time of 7.05.
Underwood’s Scott Pearson ran 52.17 to take the 400.
