(Creston) The Creston Police Department arrested Curtis Lee Lamasters, 38, at 1:47 this morning at Elm and Adams Street. Lemasters was charged with OWI 1st Offense, Interference with Official Acts, Driving on a Revoked License, and Assault on Persons in Certain Occupations (no injury). Lemasters was held in the Union County Jail on $3,300 bond.
Creston Police also arrested Mathew Louis Scherer, 39, in the 300 block of Pine Street Wednesday evening. Scherer was charged with two counts of Domestic Abuse Assault and Criminal Mischief 4th Degree. Scherer was taken to the Union County Jail where he later posted bond.
