(Ames) #3 seed Iowa State posted a comeback victory to move on in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. The Cyclones registered a 78-71 decision over UT Arlington on Friday.
ISU trailed 22-14 after one quarter and 41-35 at half. They turned the game around with a 22-13 3rd quarter advantage. Ashley Joens had 36 points and 15 rebounds. Emily Ryan added 20 points and 6 assists. Lexi Donarski scored 14.
26-6 Iowa State meets Georgia on Sunday.
