(New York, NY) Creighton raced past #11 Providence 85-58 in the semifinals of the Big East Tournament on Friday. The Bluejays avenge a prior 72-51 loss to the Friars.
Four starters finished in double figures in the win. Alex O’Connell scored 18 points, Arthur Kaluma 17, and 15 each from Ryan Kalkbrenner and Trey Alexander. Ryan Hawkins submitted 8 points, 12 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 block.
22-10 Creighton will play for a Beg East title on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
