(Iowa City) Gratt Reed is a national qualifier in the 6o Meter Hurdles. The University of Iowa sophomore from Atlantic will compete in Birmingham, AL. The NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field National Championships are scheduled for March 11th and 12th.
Reed ran a 7.72 in the prelims of the Big Ten Championships last weekend. He has the 16th fastest time in the country. He’s one of nine individuals that have qualified for the Hawkeyes which also send two relays for a program record 11 entries.
At the Big Ten meet Reed placed 3rd in the 60 Meter Hurdles and 5th in the 200.
