(Stuart) A Stuart man was arrested for Sexual Abuse 3rd Degree and two counts of Felon in Control of a Firearm.
The Stuart Police Department arrested Shawn Robert Clark, 46, on February 21st after investigating a sexual assault report. During the course of the search warrant, two shotguns were observed in Clarkâs bedroom and numerous boxes and loose shot gun ammunition were also observed. Due to Clark being a felon and not legally being allowed to own firearms, the firearms were seized and taken for evidence.
Clark was held in the Adair County Jail on $50,000 cash or surety bond.
