(Creston) The Creston Police Department reports a hit-and-run.
Monday morning, a caller stated that she heard a bang at around 4:00 a.m. but thought it was her trash can being knocked over by the wind. Creston Police say it appears a red vehicle was traveling southbound on N Birch and pulled into the driveway at a high rate of speed. The vehicle struck the curb and then collided into the rear of a 2019 Toyota Tundra which was pushed into the garage. The vehicle backed out of the drive, leaving car parts through the yard and peeled out, continuing southbound on Birch.
The vehicle sustained approximately $700 damage. The garage door sustained approximately $2,000 damage.
