(Des Moines, IA) — Six weekend shootings and five other reports of gunfire are not random, according to Des Moines police. Sergeant Paul Parizek told WHO TV that a lot of the incidents were “targeted,” involving “some interpersonal relationships.” He also says there are “a lot of guns out there,” and that they need to focus on changing the mindset that guns should be used to resolve problems. All six gunshot victims in Des Moines from the past weekend are expected to recover
