(Omaha) Creighton defeated Georgetown 88-77 in Omaha on Sunday. The Jays are 16-8 overall and 8-5 in the Big East.
Alex O’Connell buried five 3-pointers and scored 27 points. Ryan Hawkins had 14 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Hawkins went 4/10 beyond the arc. Ryan Kalkbrenner added 13 points.
Creighton won’t play again until Sunday when they host Marquette.
