(Sioux City, IA) – A sixth-grade student from Sioux City has another dining option besides the school cafeteria for the next 12 months. Carter Modlin stole the show Tuesday at a high school basketball game by sinking a bank-shot from half court during half-time, and as a result, he’s won free meals from Chick-fil-a for a year. Modlin told Siouxland News afterward that he didn’t think he’d make the shot and that all he wanted was “not embarrass” himself.
