(Storrs, CT) Ryan Hawkins had 23 points and 11 rebounds as Creighton picked up a win against a ranked opponent on the road Tuesday. The Bluejays beat 17th rated UCONN 59-55.
Hawkins made 8/12 from the field, 4/5 beyond the arc, and 3/3 at the free-throw line. Trey Alexander scored 11 points. The Creighton defense limited the Huskies to 29.9% shooting. They improve to 13-7 overall and 5-4 in the Big East.
The Bluejays will travel to Seton Hall on Friday.
