(Adair Co.) A Council Bluffs man was arrested on drug charges in Adair County.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office says Glenn Lee Rochholz, 53, was arrested following a traffic top on January 24th. He was charged with three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd or Subsequent Offense, Operating While under the Influence 1st Offense, and Failure to Affix Drug Stamp. During the stop, methamphetamine and marijuana was located on Mr. Rochholz, along with 13 round pills identified at methylphenidate hydrochloride. Rochholz was transported to the Adair County Sheriff’s Office and put through standardized field sobriety tests. He admitted he was under the influence of methamphetamine. Rochholz displayed numerous clues of impairment during the sobriety tests and during the Deputy’s interaction with him. Rochholz refused to submit to chemical testing. Rochholz was released on his own recognizance.
In other activity, the Stuart Police Department arrested Douglas Kelton Reeves, 41, of Des Moines, on January 26th for Theft 5th Degree, Burglary 2nd Degree, and Criminal Mischief 5th Degree. The victim provided a verbal and written statement that while sleeping in his recliner, Reeves entered his residence and proceeded the throw his personal property around and took the victim’s recliner out of the residence. The victim stated he went after Reeves with a golf club and swung at him, hitting the chair. Reeves also allegedly smashed the front tire/spokes of a bicycle that was by the front door steps. Reeves also provided verbal and written statement that he had knocked on the door and the victim had opened the door, but he didn’t remember if he was invited inside or not. Reeves said he saw a recliner chair that he had been missing for two years. Reeves admitted to taking the recliner out of the residence and put in the back of his pickup. Reeves also stated that he did smash the bicycle tire. Ultimately, Reeves was arrested and held on $10,600 cash or surety bond.
The Greenfield Police Department arrested Jay Ryan Ladd, 48, of Greenfield, on January 26th on a warrant for Domestic Abuse Assault – Injury or Mental Illness – 1st Offense. Ladd was held on $1,000 cash or surety bond.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office says Jo Louise Shaw, 51, of Fontanelle, was cited and released on January 23rd for Driving while License Denied/Revoked – OWI.
