(Greenfield) Maddax DeVault will play college basketball at Simpson and Caelen DeVault will play college football at Central Missouri. The Nodaway Valley seniors made their announcements this week on Twitter.
Maddax is averaging 22.1 points per game this season along with 4.9 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 4.6 steals. She was an Iowa Girls Coaches Association 1st Team All-State selection last year when she helped lead the Wolverines to the state semifinals.
Caelen was a four year varsity player in football. Last fall he was selected as a 2nd Team All-State Defensive Back by the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association. He caught 53 passes for 565 yards and led the team in tackles with 84.
