Jay Zimmerline, 59, of Fontanelle and Greenfield, Iowa, died on Thursday, January 13, 2022.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fontanelle, Iowa, at 10:00 a.m. with burial in the Fontanelle Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the church following the burial. Pastor Steven Broers will officiate the service. The Lamb Funeral Home in Fontanelle is in charge of the professional arrangements (formerly Steen Funeral Home).
Open Visitation will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fontanelle from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Friday, January 21, 2022, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fontanelle from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Memorials may be directed to the Jay Zimmerline Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.
He is survived by his four children, Jaysa Tucker (Michael) of Greenfield, Jessica Daluz of Greenfield, Jeena Modrell (Jacob) of Brayton, Iowa and Jesse Zimmerline of Greenfield; thirteen grandchildren; three brothers, Jimmy Zimmerline (Janet) of Stuart, Jerry Zimmerline (Mara) of Fontanelle and Jack Zimmerline (Donna) of Greenfield; significant other, Annette DeGraw; other relatives and friends.
