Cass County Attorney arrested for OWI

(Atlantic) Cass County Attorney Vanessa Strazdas faces charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle While under the Influence.

Cass County Sheriff Darby McLaren confirmed the arrest of  Strazdas, 46. She was arrested Sunday morning for OWI/ 1st Offense.

The Cass County Board of Supervisors appointed Strazdas as the new county attorney on February 1, 2019. The Supervisors appointed her after Governor Kim Reynolds announced the appointment of County Attorney Michael Hooper as District Court Judge in the Fourth Judicial District.
