COVID Forces Cancelation of UNI, Iowa Basketball Games

(Cedar Falls, IA) — COVID issues continue to impact college sports in Iowa. U-N-I announced Wednesday night’s men’s basketball game against Wartburg College has been canceled due to COVID-related issues in the Wartburg program. It is the Panther’s second straight game canceled by COVID issues. The University of Iowa women’s basketball game at Penn State on Thursday has been canceled due to positive COVID-19 test results within the Nittany Lions’ basketball program.
