(Greenfield) Nodaway Valley hit their first six three point attempts in the first quarter and jumped all over Bedford early. The Wolverine girls sprinted their way to an 85-25 home win against the Bulldogs.
Nodaway Valley is 5-2 on the season with an average of 79.8 points per game in their victories. Steals led to easy looks often in Tuesday’s win. The victors jumped out to a 39-4 lead after one quarter and outscored Bedford 23-8 in the 2nd frame.
Maddax DeVault posted 27 points and Lindsey Davis added 26. Nodaway Valley made 8 3-pointers in the first half and 11 in the game. Madison Fry added 9 points and Annika Nelson scored 8. Up next is a big showdown with Martensdale-St. Marys on Thursday.
