(Greenfield) Nodaway Valley basketball hosts Bedford in a girl/boy doubleheader on KSOM Tuesday. Pregame coverage starts at 5:45 with the girls game scheduled to tip at 6:00 p.m.

Senior Maddax DeVault is putting up 21.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 4.8 steals per game. Lindsey Davis boasts averages of 17 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 5.8 steals per contest. Annika Nelson averages 7.7 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. Nodaway Valley will oppose a Bedford squad that is 2-3 on the year, but has lost three in a row. The Wolverines have won nine straight against the Bulldogs including a sweep last year with scores of 64-29 and 84-58.
In the boy’s contest, Nodaway Valley is 1-3 while Bedford is 4-0. The Wolverines notched their first win of the season on Friday with a 74-53 decision over Wayne. Avery Phillippi had 28 points on 11/14 shooting with 10 rebounds. Boston DeVault had 23 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals. Nodaway Valley has won their last five head-to-head matches with Bedford. Bedford’s 4-0 record includes victories over East Union, North Nodaway, Lenox, and Essex.
