(Marshalltown) A pair of runner-up finishes led the Atlantic boys swim team at Marshalltown on Saturday.
The Trojans were 2nd in the 400 Medley Relay and 200 Freestyle Relay. They scored 39 points to finish in the middle of a five team field. The 400 Medley with Brayden Atkinson and Alexander Lihs posted a time of 4:46.55. The 200 Freestyle had Brayden Atkinson and Kyler Rieken in 1:55.63.
Atlantic swam 3rd in the 200 Medley Relay with Alexander Lihs, Alex Sampson, Brayden Atkinson, and Kyler Rieken.
Atlantic also placed 3rd in the 400 Freestyle Relay relay with Bryan York and Keaton Rieken.
Alexander Lihs, Kyler Rieken, Brayden Atkinson, and Alex Sampson teamed up to place 3rd in the 1000 Freestyle Relay with four swimmers.
There was also a 1000 Freestyle Relay with two swimmers and Atlantic got 3rd with Bryan York and Keaton Rieken.
Alexander Lihs and Kyler Rieken were paired together on a 3rd place 200 Backstroke Relay.
In the 200 Breaststroke Relay Alex Sampson and Lucas Doyle placed 4th. Sampson and Doyle were also 4th in the 100 Freestyle Relay.
Keaton Rieken, Bryce Shmidtke, Lucas Doyle, and Bryan York were 4th in the 400 Freestyle Relay.
