(Audubon) The Audubon Recreation Foundation Board and Gymnasium Subcommittee Members are raising money to expand the Audubon Recreation Center.
The goal is to raise $75,000 from local contributions to expand the current facility with two full-court basketball and volleyball courts and a fitness center. The goal is to raise the money from local donations during the giving season until the end of the year to secure the purchase of the building.
The subcommittee invites all community members to an open house and informational meeting on the “Raise up the Gym” project and progress on Monday, November 29 at 7:30 pm at the Audubon Rec Center.
The doors to the open house will open at 7:00 pm. Community members will be able to ask one-on-one questions with the Audubon Recreation Foundation Board and Gymnasium Subcommittee Members.
