(Area) The Iowa Girls Coaches Association released all-district and all-state volleyball teams this week.
In Class 1A on the first team is St. Albert senior Lauren Williams. Tri-Center’s Miranda Ring made the Class 1A 2nd team. Honorable Mention selections from the are in Class 1A include: Alivia Ruble (SE Warren), Emily Williams (East Mills), Josie Hartman (SE Warren), and Tatum Carlson (Tri-Center).
The Class 2A 2nd team features Chloe Largent, of ACGC. Van Meter’s Abby Matt made the 3rd team in Class 2A as did Treynor’s Emma Flathers. On the 2A Honorable Mention are Alizabeth Jacobsen (Underwood), Ashlyn Badding (Kuemper Catholic), and Darby Nixon (Woodward-Granger).
DM Christian’s Gabby Lombardi is 1st team all state pick in Class 3A. The Lions also had Olivia Lombardi on the 2nd team. Red Oak’s Chloe Johnson made the 2nd team. DM Christian added an Honorable Mention selection with Maren Miller.
In Class 4A, Glenwood’s Brynlee Arnold is a 1st teamer. Winterset’s Lauren Carter is on the 2nd team.
Molly Romano, from Abraham Lincoln, made the 2nd team in Class 5A.
