(Atlantic) Atlantic School’s Superintendent Steve Barber, appearing on Trojan Talk Friday afternoon, recognized all of the great things happening within the district.
Barber said Mrs. Berryhill was recognized by her peers.
Barber noted that Cheryl Thompson has been selected to conduct the 7th and 8th Grade Honor Choir.
The Atlantic School Board will receive the Better Boardsmanship Team Award at the Iowa School Board Association’s annual conference for the work that they did throughout the year. All individual members will also receive an award.
Barber also recognized Atlantic graduate and former Iowa State Football quarterback Bret Meyer who will be honored Friday at the Iowa High School Atlantic Association Football Hall of Fame banquet.
