(Council Bluffs) On Thursday, Council Bluffs Police and the U.S. Marshalls Office Death Investigators booked in a person of interest following the shooting death of McKayla Glover.
The U.S. Marshall’s Office located and arrested 28-year old Vaughn White in Omaha on an outstanding warrant for being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm. The Council Bluffs police detectives continue to investigate the circumstances of McKayla Glover’s death.
On October 22, at 3:42 a.m., Council Bluffs Police and EMS responded to 1200 East Washington Street for a reported shooting. Once on scene, Officers found 24-year-old McKayla Glover with a single gunshot wound to her chest. A ground ambulance transported Glover to the Emergency Department at Nebraska Medicine, where she was pronounced deceased.
The Council Police Department began searching for Vaughn White for Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
