Fremont-Mills 61, Griswold 0
The Knights took care of business in an efficient manner to set up an important showdown with undefeated Lenox next week. They averaged 10.9 yards per rush and 27 yards per completion. Payten VanHouten carried five times for 65 yards. Levi Wright took his only rushing attempt for a 53 yard TD. Braxton Blackburn secured nine tackles. The Knights forced five turnovers including three interceptions from Jake Malcom.
CAM 82, Coon Rapids-Bayard 22
7-0 CAM scored 54 points in the first quarter and had 74 on the board by halftime. Six of Lane Spieker’s ten carries went for scores. He tallied 222 rushing and 54 passing yards. He was 2/3 through the air with a touchdown. Spieker added another TD on a punt return. Colby Rich was on the receiving end of both of CAM’s completions.. Cade Ticknor ran for 91 yards on five attempts with two scores. Gabe Rouse had four carries for 59 yards and a TD. Austin Williams had a team best seven tackles.
SW Valley 15, Riverside 12
SW Valley QB Brendan Knapp ran for 110 yards on 29 carries with two TD’s. Evan Timmerman had 27 rushing yards. Riverside’s Austin Kremkoski passed for 174 yards and rushed for 126. Jace Rose caught five passes for 56 yards. Grady Jeppesen had five catches for 71 yards and a TD.
Audubon 50, West Harrison 8
Gavin Smith led the Wheelers with two TD passes spanning 100 yards along with 170 rushing yards and two scores on ten carries. Carter Andreasen had 108 rushing yards and two scores on seven carries. He also caught a 63 yard TD and Braden Wessel was on the receiving end of a 37 yard TD. Audubon made 11 tackles for loss with 2.5 each from Alex Foran and Gabe Jensen.
Logan-Magnolia 49, AHSTW 19
With 27 points in the 2nd quarter, Logan-Magnolia stretched the edge to 41-0 by halftime. Brody West and Gavin Maguire each ran for over 100 yards. The Panthers had 467 yards of offense and averaged 8.9 yards per rushing attempt.
Van Meter 53, Interstate-35 0
Dalten Van Pelt ran 23 times for 186 yards and three scores. Chris Schreck caught a 70 yard TD from Jack Pettit. Van Meter has shut out six of their seven opponents this year. They’ve outscored district opponents on average, 61.5 to 0.
Underwood 70, West Monona 0
Alex Ravlin went 10/14 for 155 yards and two touchdowns. Joey Andersen ran 15 times for 157 yards and three scores. Unbeaten Underwood averages 59 points per game this year and their closest game was a 40-point margin over Clarinda in Week 2.
Atlantic 42, Knoxville 6
Dante Hedrington scored on runs of 53 and 40 yards. He finished with 11 carries for 142 yards. Caden Andersen connected on 8/10 passing as Atlantic threw for 105 yards. Dayton Templeton caught five passes for 66 yards with two TD’s. Logan Terrell contributed a pick six.
