Gavin Smith went 6/9 through the air for 183 yards and two TD’s. He ran 20 times for 187 yards and five touchdowns. Audubon tallied 296 rushing yards. Aaron Olsen ran for 64 yards and a TD, Braden Wessel had two carries for 16 yards and a TD, and Carter Andreasen posted 29 yards rushing. Wessel caught three passes for 139 yards and two scores. Garrett Christensen had two catches for 41 yards. Christensen had a big night on defense with four sacks. Grant Gleason had an interception. Audubon is 5-1.
CAM 66, Exira-EHK 6
The Cougars put the running clock on an opponent for the fifth time in six weeks. Lane Spieker accounted for eight scores (six rushing, two passing). He ran for 297 yards and passed for 108. Ethan Follmann had a 35 yard passing TD to Sam Foreman. Colby Rich and Joe Kauffman each caught a touchdown from Spieker. Kauffman had 6.5 tackles, two tackles for loss, and an interception.
ACGC 35, Interstate-35 6
Gavin Cornelison carried the bulk of the rushing load with 240 yards and two TD’s on 24 attempts. Cayden Jensen had 98 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Brock Littler ran eight time for 68 yards and one TD. Charlie Crawford five times for 45 yards and a touchdown along with one reception for 37 yards. Cornelison posted 9.5 tackles including four for loss. Jensen intercepted a pass and returned it 40 yards.
Van Meter 56, Nodaway Valley/O-M 0
The Bulldogs had a balanced offensive output with 150 yards passing and 158 rushing. Jack Pettit connected on 6/7 passes for 130 yards and 3 TD’s. Dalten Van Pelt carried 11 times for 83 yards. Eight others had anywhere between one and five attempts. Ganon Archer topped the receiving chart with three catches for 50 yards and a TD. Outside of a 28-13 win against Class 4A top ten Winterset, Van Meter has outscored opponents 265-0 this season.
Stanton/Essex 24, Murray 22
Joshua Martin passed for 194 yards (10/17) with two touchdowns and one interception. He added 43 rushing yards and one score on the ground. Jack Roberts and Levin Martin each had three catches and one TD apiece. Roberts posted 92 yards and Levi Martin 77. Logan Roberts had 48 rushing yards and 13.5 tackles.
Fremont-Mills 60, East Union 0
The Knights led 30-0 after one quarter. Braxton Blackburn carried 13 times for 146 yards and three TD’s. He registered five sacks. Fremont-Mills had 242 rushing yards and 90 passing yards. Taylor Reed caught two passes for 38 yards and score along with two interceptions on defense. The Knights forced five turnovers including a pick sick from Brady Owen.
Riverside 49, Missouri Valley 14
Austin Kremkoski had a career night with 11 carries for 258 yards and three touchdowns. He also completed 9/13 passes for 199 yards and three scores. Rhett Bentley ran 15 times for 92 yards and one TD along with three catches for 71 yards and another score. Grady Jeppesen caught three passes for 77 yards and one TD. Nolan Moore had a TD grab among his two catches for 41 yards. Riverside responded from their first loss last week in a big way with 584 yards of offense.
