(Sioux Center, IA) — A big milestone for the Lewis and Clark Regional Water System in northwest Iowa. Engineers, contractors and officials from Sioux County celebrated the final section of pipeline being constructed between Beresford, South Dakota and Sioux Center Wednesday. There is still more infrastructure that needs to be completed before Sioux Center and Hull will begin receiving water in 2023. The system will eventually deliver water from a Missouri River aquifer to 20 communities and rural water systems in Iowa, South Dakota and Minnesota.
