Donald Edvard Jensen was born March 13, 1945 to the late Anders and Edna (Lange) Jensen in Kimballton, Iowa.
Don passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at his home in Elk Horn attaining the age of seventy-six years, five months and twenty-nine days. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law: Mike Childs.
Left to cherish his memories, his wife: Janet Jensen of Elk Horn; children: Amy and her husband David Hoffmann of Walnut, Iowa, Jerod Jensen and his wife Jennifer of Earlham, Iowa and Corey Jensen and his wife Tanya of Waukee, Iowa; grandchildren: Hillary and her husband James Shughart, Travis Hoffmann, Ellie Hoffmann, Alexis Jensen, Skyler Jensen, Maizie Jensen and Cora Jensen; great-grandchildren: Hunter Shughart and Jalynn Shughart; sister: Verlene Childs of Elk Horn; other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service is 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kimballton with a visitation one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. also at the church. Inurnment is in Bethany Lutheran Church Cemetery in Kimballton. Memorials may be directed to the family.
