(Atlantic) Atlantic Mayoral Candidate Grace Garrett says she wants to showcase Atlantic as a great place to work, play, and call home. Garrett says Atlantic has a great foundation and calls the City a “gold nugget.”
Garrett is one of three candidates running for the Mayoral seat in the November 2 election. In 2019, she won the election for the City Council at-large seat on a platform of “being a good listener of the people represent them well, and work together to bring about the best possible results for Atlantic.
Garrett says that is exactly what she has done while serving as a Council member.
Grace says her number one goal is to find out what the citizens of Atlantic want. She also wants to address housing on every level, new construction, business development, infrastructure needs, all-generation public involvement, addresses the childcare shortage, and all-generation public involvement.
Garrett has a background on the administration side in the medical field, where she has worked for 25-years. She also started two non-profit organizations and has worked for two non-profits. Grace lists her skill sets of teaching, training, facilitating, and public speaking to groups of all sizes as assets for the seat at the table as Mayor.
