Lane Spieker led the Cougars with 329 rushing yards and 5 TD’s. Colby Rich had a fumble recovery, two interceptions and blocked a punt. Fremont-Mills was led by Jake Malcom who carried 10 times for 62 yards including a 36 yard score.
AHSTW 20, IKM-Manning 16
The Vikings scored 13 unanswered in the 4th quarter to erase a 16-7 deficit. IKM-Manning totaled 147 rushing yards and 105 yards through the air. Cooper Irlmeier carried the load with 23 rushes for 96 yards and Amos Rasmussen added 51 yards on 16 attempts.
Audubon 48, SE Warren 21
The Wheelers led 13-0 after one quarter and 27-7 at half. They posted 21 3rd quarter points. Gavin Smith accounted for 289 yards of offense with 109 through the air and 180 rushing. Five scores came on the ground for Smith and two were in the passing game where he hit on 5/7 throws. Matthew Beisswenger caught five passes for 109 yards and two TD’s. He also posted four solo tackles and three assists.
Riverside 41, Red Oak 20
Rhett Bentley had the big night for the Bulldogs with 171 yards and 3 TD’s rushing on 25 carries. Austin Kremkoski was 11/23 through the air with 127 yards and two scores. He added 89 yards and one TD rushing. Jace Rose was Kremkoski’s main target with five catches for 46 yards and a TD. Grady Jeppesen also reeled in a TD grab. Brody Zimmerman topped the tackle chart with seven and Ayden Salais intercepted a pass.
Harlan 36, Lewis Central 29
Harlan stormed back from 15 down for the win. Teagon Kasperbauer went 26/46 through the air for 357 yards. Joey Moser caught three balls for 73 yards and a TD. Connor Frame had five catches for 66 yards and two scores. Jacob Birch added 119 yards.
Glenwood 38, Atlantic 0
Tate Mayberry amassed 79 yards and two scores on seven rushes. Brock Sell added 78 yards on seven carries. Most of Atlantic’s offense came through the passing game where Caden Andersen was 10/21 for 144 yards. Garrett McLaren had three games for 87 yards.
