(Greenfield) Adair County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is pleased to announce Jill Wallace of Greenfield is this year’s recipient of its $1,000 scholarship.
The scholarship, which is awarded each year to a college student in a health-related field, was presented to Wallace this summer.
Wallace, who graduated in May 2021 with an associate’s degree from Southwestern Community College (SWCC), is enrolled in the college’s nursing program this fall. She plans to become a nurse practitioner in the field of dermatology.
“We are pleased to award this year’s scholarship to Jill. She is an outstanding young adult, and we are confident she will be very successful in the healthcare field,” said Carol Woosley, president of the Auxiliary.
Wallace was excited to be this year’s award recipient and encourages others to apply next year.
“Thank you to the Adair County Auxiliary Scholarship committee for granting me this opportunity. This scholarship is a big help and will allow me to focus on my studies and build connections with others in the healthcare field,” said Wallace.
More information regarding the Auxiliary’s 2022-2023 Scholarship Program will be distributed in the spring of 2022.
