(Atlantic) Mark McNees told the Cass County Board of Supervisors this morning that the Cass County Fire Association received grant funding from the Department of Homeland Security for new radios.
McNees said the total project cost is $371,692 and the funding from the grant amounts to $353,992.38. The local match from the County is $17,699.62. The Supervisors will put that on the next agenda for approval.
In other news, the Supervisors set September 14th as the date for a public hearing on the amendment of the Cass County FY 2022 Budget for the inclusion of the CARES Act funding, etc.
