(Des Moines) The Iowa Department of Public Health’s weekly data shows 134 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Region 4 from Wednesday, July 28 through Wednesday, August 4. That’s a decline of 45 cases week over week.
The Iowa Department of Public Health reports 46 additional positive tests in Crawford County, 15 additional positive tests in Mills County, 12 additional positive cases in Adams County, 12 more in Shelby County, 11 additional positive tests in Harrison County, nine additional positive tests in Cass County, 8 more in Page County, four additional positive cases in Fremont and Audubon Counties, and two additional positive cases in Montgomery County.
There were 15 patients hospitalized in Region 4, four patients in ICU, five patients admitted in the past 24 hours, and four patients on ventilators.

In Region 1, the IDPH reports 14 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Guthrie County, (1,350 total positive tests) (32 deaths). The IDPH reports six additional positive cases in Adair County, (1,039 total positive tests) (32 deaths).
