Second Person Charged With Murder In Lake Park Woman’s Death

(Fort Dodge, IA)  —  A second person has been charged with murder in the death of a 25-year-old Lake Park woman.

Twenty-three-year-old Justice Berntson was charged Thursday while he was being held at the Fort Dodge prison on a separate charge.  Twenty-six-year-old Allison Decker was charged earlier last week in Dickinson County District Court.  The body of Angel Bastman was found on December 22nd inside her home.  Police haven’t said how Bastman was killed.

Berntson was arrested on December 26th after leading police on a pursuit while driving the victim’s rental car at the time.
